"This trailhead has very good hiking either way you hike on the pinhoti trail and has a loop trail for shorter hikes. There is no cell service at the trailhead and south. Some cell service on north hike after about the second mile"

"Did the Jones Hollow Loop to Jones Gap and Pinhoti Trail. 6 5 miles had lots of wildflowers blooming. Follows a creek on old road or side of ridge ."

"Great section of trail but there have been several break-ins there lately. I would not leave a car overnight"

"Fantastic hiking spot with plenty of parking. Some friends and I spent 4 days 3 nights hiking around and camping. The south side is beautiful and a fairly easy hike. It has nice views of some water feature too. The north side starts with a bit of a climb and water isn't found for a while unless you hike down a very steep section off trail. All in all a fantastic place to spend either the day or a whole weekend."

"Really good trails! Beautiful views. A good workout for the legs and pet friendly, so that's a bonus. We took our cats on a walk and they loved it!"
