Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

"They close at 9pm. My family got here at 8:25pm. They said we would be on a 35 min wait. 10 mins later the Manager sent word that they are really closed and can’t accommodate use. 3 adults and 6 kids. Said all the tables are dirty and they won’t have time to clean them and for us to eat because the kitchen workers get off at 9pm. I’ve run restaurants over 20 years in management. And that’s a lazy excuse for a lazy manager who’d rather have dirty tables than to fill them with guests!!! If y’all close at 8:25 then say that! You serve guests until your actual close time. Oh and I counted the number of tables seated in the restaurant… it was 8 tables seated… but they are overwhelmed! Pathetic!!! Don’t worry about my family stopping by this Cracker Barrel again. A lazy manager will run a restaurant right into the ground!!! All my years of managing restaurants… I’ve never turned away a guest 35 minutes before closing."

"We arrived around 7:55 pm. We were seated almost immediately. We did not get a server to come to our table until 8:20 or so. This was after I asked who will be taking care of us. The TM came and took our order she was professional, quick and anticipated our needs. The food came out quickly and was very good. She was great. The wait to place our order in my opinion took too long. I am only giving a 4 star rating because the waitress was great."

"Don't go here. I've been here a few times and every time it takes forever. Today I ate here, not during a particularly busy time of day, and spent an hour and a half due to service being extremely slow. I even ordered something with the "quick eats" label. I wss seated for ten minutes before I even got a server coming by. And later I had to wait fifteen whole minutes before I could flag the server down to ask for a refill. I don't think it's the server's fault; she had too many customers to serve and was overwhelmed. If the owners of this restaurant are okay with this experience for their customers, I'm not giving them my business."

"Awful service. I sat there for 20 min before seeing a waitress, which I had to ask for. Then we sat there for another 20 min after ordering just for our waitress to come back with no food. She must’ve been doodling in her notepad instead of taking orders cause she was beyond confused. She only wrote down one of our orders then tried to tell us we only ordered one meal between the two of us. Why would we do that? Then she’s reading our order out to us incorrectly & when I try to correct her she goes “that’s what I just said”. Like are we okay ?? Between all that we didn’t receive not one drink or appetizer we ordered. On top of that, a couple seated next to us AFTER we was seated got their food. So after 40 min, no order was properly taken and didn’t receive anything that whole time. Awful first Cracker Barrel experience."

"Good breakfast for me at 1pm...lol it just that l like breakfast all day. Service was good but a little out of touch, had too many tables."
