"The food here is always really good. It is reliable and also filling. The portions are good size. If you want a better deal, then be sure to call Gus' directly to find out which specials they have for the day. Or you can just go to the restaurant and inquire with the server. If you order online or through Uber Eats or Door Dash then you won't see the specials posted on those sites/apps. Just passing along a noteworthy point so that you can save money."
"We spent almost 40 on two plates with our own sides to go. We get home and realize all we got was beans and 1 serving of fries split between two boxes. There was literally 10 fries in each box. The chicken was really good but come on…"

"I've been to Gus's in Kansas City a few times and it is always very good. This one was also very good. I decided to try their chicken tenders and it was very good. Tasted fresh and hot, it had the perfect amount of breading. The baked beans are good and tasty, the Mac n cheese was a little too dry but it was good. But the star of the show was the chicken and it was good. I took mine to go and the server Jaxson was good and helpful."
"Stopped by on the way home to grab a side of mac and cheese to go with my meal at home. The mac and cheese was actually pretty good. Nice and creamy and had some paprika on top. Will definitely revisit! Update 09/2023: Went back to try out their chicken. I ordered the 2 piece kids meal and the kitchen blessed me with an extra piece of chicken. The chicken had the perfect amount of spice! I threw it in the air fryer for an extra crisp, but it was still good without the extra cooking time. Definitely my new go to spot for chicken now. Of course as always mac and cheese was good!"
