"I have been driving past this barbecue spot for years and finally today made a u-turn. I was just going to get a barbecue sandwich and try it out, ended up getting their special which was fried catfish, fries, hush puppies and coleslaw. I was very pleasantly surprised and will definitely be coming back. Their BBQ sauce is excellent, can't wait to try some pork and dine outside. Rachel is a professional server. If you are passing by this spot, you should certainly give it a try."

"This is one of the few places I have been that I feel genuinely deserves all 5 stars. They hit perfect on service, atmosphere, and most importantly food. Their BBQ was not dry at all. It was moist and savory. My wife got the ribs and they were amazing. I am not a huge fan of the "egg-roll" thing, but the remoulade it is served with made up for the sort of weird wrapper. That said, the sides were amazing as well. The greens were seasoned without being overly salted, the Brunswick stew was good without being just glorified BBQ sauce. Understand, I do not usually like sweet style sauces, but their sauce is good. Their spicy sauce is even better in my opinion, but I highly recommend you try this place out. When we go back, I am getting the smoked wings and the peach cobbler. Update: Yes, the service was fantastic. I can not remember the young lady who waited on us, but she and the rest of the staff in general care about your food and experience—I was impressed. When people are enthusiastic about their job, it really shows and speaks to the quality of the whole business."
