"Ambivalent kid clearly didn't want to be there. The stew was "meh", the pork was a cup full of dry crumbs that didn't have a whiff of smokeyness to it and tasted like it had been left in the bottom of a stale fridge. Took a couple bites and threw the whole pound of meat in the trash. Not enough sauce to save it."

"This place looked so great, I was really excited to try it. But wow, it was probably the worst barbecue I've ever had, and that covers dozens of restaurants across Texas and the southeast over a period of decades. The meat was ground to a pulp, and premixed with a gallon of sickly sweet sauce. I was so nauseated after half the sandwich, I gave the rest to my dogs. Maybe this place was once good, but today, head up to Newnan for Oink Joint, or down to Lagrange for Country's."
