"I haven't eaten here since moving away from Bowden 35 years ago. I was telling a friend about the restaurant, and we decided to go try it out. I'm happy to say #1 it's still open #2 it's still owned by the same couple and #3 it's still serving great food. If you've never tried it give them a chance, think me later."

"Home town country atmosphere. Local owners . Deborah & her husband ( police chief) are hands on . Staff very friendly. Food is always great ! My personal favorite is ham sandwich, fries, chicken dressing. My husband loves hamburger steak . Sons & daughter in law eat various but we love it all."

"OK... I'm making this review as I sit here... OK... So far... I'm having the buffet lunch, so far, I have been melting as I eat the pot roast, my mama would have loved this and she made the best pot roast, I really love the potatoes with onions and peppers... I also have the fried yellow squash, hush puppies, stewed cabbage, but the best, so far, is the sweet potato cobbler, I'd travel a lots of miles to just get this...as I write this, I take a bite , oh yeah, I really like thier sweet tea.... This place has an old time could try feel to it, which is exactly what I was hoping for... So far, the service has been top notch, and I've positioned myself so I can watch the staff as they work with other customers, they are sweet and very nice as what I've witnessed... I am so glad to have moved here to this small town, Bowdon Georgia... This establishment is part of the charm of this Town... If you visit the town, make sure to get to this restaurant... I will be back for more and I shall be posting more reviews..."

"We ordered take out. The prices have almost doubled and you get very tiny oysters. No butter or sour cream for your baked potato. or tartar sauce or any condiments. Very disappointed and we used to take out a lot ."
