"I don't like to do negative reviews ... So the young lady at the counter greeted me when I came through the door. Great customer service. Burger appeared smashed ... Turned out to be the cook is more than a little food presentation/assembly challenged. Basically over cooked and flavor less mess. Fries freezer burnt so tasteless resembling cardboard. Lettuce, tomato, not fresh. Bacon burnt so when mixed with the shredded lettuce tomato bits and pieces a dab of mayo ... the over all experience rang in at a whooping Zero. UNFORTUNATELY THIS IS MY FIRST TIME EATING A JACK'S **HIGH LITE** ... The cashier"

"My husband went to pick up food some tonight. I just so happened to be on the phone when he was in drive through. The woman who is working, the drive-through was rude. As my husband placed the order, he told her that he wanted a four piece chicken, tender with a side of mashed potatoes and gravy Diet Coke as the drink and cookies and cream milkshake. He got to the window they seem decent enough. They said they were going to cook the meal fresh for us. It was close to closing time. However, as soon as the woman brought out the food, my husband went to check it one they gave us fries instead of mashed potatoes and gravy to The shorted us one tender, and when my husband went into rectify the situation with the mashed potatoes and gravy he watched her make it up for him, and the woman was acting as if she was doing my husband a favor. My husband’s not a big advocate for checking the food too much before he leaves the fact that he did it. The first time was pretty decent, but not many people think to look at the food a second time, but when he brought it home, you could tell that the woman just simply scraped what was left on the bottom of the mashed potatoes and the gravy, and there was nothing more than a bunch of dry, crusty bits of gravy on top of this mound of mashed potatoes and the gravy was also over pouring over the edges of the lid. The chicken also look like it was undercooked. It’s funny because I told my husband I’d rather him not go to that Jack’s to begin with because of a bad Facebook review that I saw a couple months ago for that particular location, my husband and I are both familiar with working in the food industry and when we don’t visit certain places for a while, they’ve had a bad review we usually try to give them another chance to see how things turn out since the last list and unfortunately they just proved to us that they still have bad service."

"I love to drive through at Jacks when I travel. It is one of my favorite fast-food places. The food is consistently good and I really like the chocolate milkshakes. Staff is always friendly."

"We ordered at the drive through window at Jacks in Ft. Payne for the last time today. We love Jacks, but the past two times at this location have been very disappointing. My wife ordered their special, the Southern BBQ Pub Burger. What she received was a mashed, unappetizing, thrown together burger which looked nothing like the pictures on TV or their web site. First, like I said, it was mashed (picture 2). Then two beef patties on a dry bun (picture 3). Then all condiments were just thrown on there in a pile (picture 4). There was only a dab of the special barbecue sauce, not spread on thick as advertised (picture 4). Finally, one of the beef patties looked like someone had taken a bite out of it when making the burger (it was given to our dog before I could take a picture). I ordered the chicken dinner. We were given no napkins or eating utensils. I hope this is just a local problem and not systematic. Good bye Jacks."

"Usually this place has fast, friendly service with a great breakfast. Today, not so much. The eggs were thin and dry, almost like it was bottom scrappings. We had the deluxe breakfast. Only thing good was hash rounds. The biscuits were thin and almost flat. The pics show the half of the biscuit, honesty the other half was that thin as well, didn't think to take pictures before. I hope they do better next time, and this was just an off day for them. They were very busy, I know, but no excuse for food like that."
