"I’m new to the area have eaten their breakfast bowls three times. I was introduced to them by my principal who purchased bowls for the building staff. The taste is perfect and no additional seasoning is needed nor is it too much."
"Usually pretty good experience eating here. Today it took FOREVER to get our food. 6 people who ordered AFTER us got their food BEFORE us. The blamed it on the shrimp I ordered. Shrimp cooks faster than chicken. It literally only takes about 2 minutes, or less, to fry shrimp. They had an off day because, like I said, it's usually very good."
"Would recommend. My husband had the all white meat chicken it was freshly cooked, moist, and just the right amount of breading. I got the chicken liver and gizzard combo they were also very fresh and cooked perfectly. We did get a side of okra, and it was not soggy."
"Ordered wings 4/11/23 but I didn’t eat them all the same day. Today (4/12/23) as I’m finishing my wings and I get to the last few, I find a black strand of hair. My hair is all red so I know it’s not mine. This is super gross."
"Had high hopes for this place. We like to support local places. What a let down! They were busy but I don’t get it. The food was not good. Had the typical fried chicken. Didn’t have much flavor and was really dry! Green beans were good. Tried the brownies - dry & no flavor. Fries tasted like the grease needed changed badly. Biggest issue - I couldn’t get over how DIRTY this place was. The dining room floor - yuck - stuck to it. Thick layer of grease on it. Tables were not bussed and had a sticky film on them. The women’s restroom looked like it had grease built up all over the walls. Won’t be back."
