"A very beautiful and safe place to walk/run lots of people so it's not lonely. I've seen turtles, fish, birds, ducks in the water. A great place to experience nature and its also connected to the rose garden. They have picnic tables, and pavilion for fun gatherings, and a play ground for kids. Lots of dog walkers too."
"Sunday June 18 2023 My husband, our one year old, our seven month old and my pregnant self visited Cherokee lake park today. It was pretty nice! There's a little park and a picnic area. Nearby There's the lovely rose garden. This place is stroller accessible. If you need to take a break there are benches all along the trail. There are ducks, geese, squirrels, and turtles everywhere. The animals were all fun to watch especially for kids. There's a sign that tells you what you can and can't feed the animals here."
