"My visit on 12/20/23, my hygienist (Ann) was negative, judgmental and extremely critical and sarcastic. This was the 1st time I met her, and she had a bad and very rude attitude from the moment I sat down in the chair. Ann was also extremely unnecessarily rough throughout the cleaning appointment, and I honestly felt like she was doing it to punish me for some reason... it felt like she was attacking my teeth and gums with a wrecking ball. She kept talking down to me like I was a child. My dental problems stem from a diagnosed medical condition, which affects my calcium absorption. I already have enough health problems, without the stress of a hygienist's bad attitude when I'm paying for a service like a dental cleaning."
"While out of town with family, my bridge came off. I frantically searched for help in Ellijay. Being Thursday afternoon, there were no appointments available. My vacation was in peril with a hole in my mouth where a 3 tooth bridge belonged. Fortunately, the fine folks at Lykins Family Dental kindly worked me in. Now I am able to eat again. "Very friendly staff called me to let me know about a cancellation so I could come in early. When I got here I didn’t have all my insurance information and they had no problem looking it up with the little information I could give them. I have been to plenty of good Dentist even in this town but I have never been given a shot in the top front of my mouth without feeling it until Dr. Shay Lykins."
