"I went through the drive-thru at the Southside Checkers in Dothan today after the $5 meal deal sign caught my eye. My mom & I used to eat there often & always enjoyed it. Today's meal was the most disgusting food; fries were greasy, soft, & barely warm. The tea was old, & the chicken bites were edible & that's about all they were. The burger was "OK". I guess I got what I asked for which is a cheap meal! BUT I work hard for my money & that $5.45 may as well of been tossed out the window. The manager was friendly as she handed me my meal, but the young woman working the drive-thru had the personality of a carrot. I will never ever waste my money at a Checkers again."
"The fries were hot, and the sandwich was cold. The grounds were in order and picked up, but none the less...the food wasn't near what I expected considering that there weren't many customers there at the moment and my order was small (a slushy, a fish sandwhich and a small order of fries). Checkers can do better... much better on the food. The service was quick and timely."

"Checkers has Always been my favorite Burger Shop, Not hating on the other Burger shops, it's just,.... I taste everything on the sandwich!!!, and the fries are truly a delicious treat, the crunch and the potato is still there, not cooked out( THAT PART)."
"We were the only customers and had to wait almost 20 min for our food. The fries were stone cold and I will say the gentleman working was very nice and gave us some hot fries. The burgers were so salty we couldn’t eat them! I’ve also never seen a drive through that made you drive all the way back around to the other lane. Very irritating, as we have a huge truck. $17 and some change down the drain."
