"I've been on Lake Lanier for the past 15 years; out of all the fishing guides I've tried, Captain Chris is unquestionably the best. We went out on two half-day striper charters on successive mornings in late July, which proved to be very fruitful. Captain Chris picked us up from our dock with perhaps the most impressive vessel maneuvering skills I have ever witnessed. We hit plenty of spots, quickly switching between live bait, trolling with umbrella rigs, and throwing artificials whenever necessary. Captain Chris made it a point to explain the logic behind everything that we were doing and, more importantly, to teach us exactly how to do it in order to maximize our chances of catching fish, both with him and in the future. Although he was incredibly knowledgeable about both Lanier and fishing in general, our conversations were not limited to such; he was very relatable, so we were able to talk about practically anything. I found myself wanting to extend our trip to a full day, but unfortunately he was already booked for that particular afternoon. Captain Chris is passionate about what he does, to be sure, but his investment and interest in his clients is clearly his top priority. His outgoing and friendly nature, willingness to reach out and offer advice even after the trip is over, and of course, the great fishing, are in my mind what separates him from the the pack."
