"I enjoyed the room and the cleanliness of the facility, however the front desk clerk has no customer service skills and maybe a little prejudice.. the cookies are free at the front desk I traveled with 4 others and while checking in we all grabbed one cookie. We look up he done took the cookies and hid them under the counter. The next morning they are back out on the counter and when he noticed we are downstairs in the lobby during breakfast he puts them up again and this time they stayed up. When checked out they put them back out"

"Greg was a fantastic employee at the front desk. Parking levels each have a color designation. Breakfast is standard fare for this chain. The breakfast bowls must be their thing. Laundry facilities are next to the front desk in a secure and visible area. You must enter the fitness area to access the laundry area. There is a water dispenser in the laundry area so one can refill their water bottle. The room had a sleeper sofa which sold us. The kitchenette is out of view upon entering the room. Ample windows and window coverings. Modern, floating nightstand with adequate usb and electrical outlets. The hall carpet has seen better days, but the room was clean overall. Refreshments are available for purchase, adjacent to the front desk."

"⚠️ CAUTION: AVOID HOME2 SUITES DOES NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR SAFETY⚠️ I feel compelled to share my recent harrowing experience at Home2 Suites by Hilton Atlanta Midtown to warn fellow travelers about the shocking lack of security and professionalism exhibited by this hotel. During our stay, a cleaning staff member attempted to physically force her way into our occupied room at 8 AM without any warning or explanation. This invasion of privacy was terrifying and deeply unsettling. My brother had to block the door with his body to prevent her from entering, an experience that left us shaken and feeling completely unsafe, especially considering that one of my family members in the room suffers from a brain injury and this experience was extremely distressing to them. Upon reporting the incident to the front desk, the response from management was utterly inadequate. Despite our distress and the gravity of the situation, the best resolution they could offer was waiving our parking fee, and tell us that "they too were armed" and had firearms under the desk, as if this was some kind of comfort or resolution. This dismissive response showed a complete lack of concern for our safety and well-being. The fact that a staff member could attempt to enter our clearly occupied room without any verification or apology afterward speaks volumes about the hotel's security standards and overall lack of professionalism. Guests should never have to fear for their safety in a hotel, especially at a reputable chain like Hilton. I strongly advise against staying at Home2 Suites by Hilton Atlanta Midtown. The disregard for guest safety, lack of professionalism, and dismissive attitude from the management are inexcusable. There are countless other hotels in Atlanta that prioritize guest security and provide a comfortable, respectful environment. Do not subject yourself to the distressing experience we endured here."

"The hotel is in a great location, that’s probably the best part of the hotel. We chose our room when we booked the hotel online, but when we arrived, the room and floor wasn’t available. We had to wait 30 minutes after arriving at 5 PM to be told the room wasn’t clean. We were given another floor. The next morning, we called and requested additional towels, however, no one ever showed up with them at all. We stopped a housekeeper in the hall and asked her for towels. We had a 1 PM check out, and the housekeeper caught an attitude with us saying no one told her that there was a late check out and she wasn’t gonna stay here all day. She proceeded to tell us that we needed to leave because she needed to clean the room now, even though we weren’t due to check out for another two hours. She didn’t give us additional towels either. Also, there was someone staying there when we were in the lobby complaining of bedbugs. She also took pictures and showed it to the receptionist. The receptionist took a picture of the picture and changed her room. We, however, didn’t have bedbugs. In fact, our room was very clean. I definitely wouldn’t recommend going to this hotel. I do want to point out that the receptionist (male) and security guard they had there (female) were extremely nice! They’d both be better off at a better establishment."

"I stayed here over one of the downtown's busy weeks, and it was one of the best hotel experiences I've ever had. The suite was high quality -- spacious, immaculate, attractive and comfortable. The shower had great water pressure. Even the fold-out couch was comfortable! There is a door in between the 2 rooms and 2 TVs, so we both had privacy to sleep. No noise from the other rooms, either! The shampoo etc. was in dispensers rather than little bottles, which reduces waste. The internet was always reliable, the complimentary breakfast was good (they have a waffle iron!), and the full-size fridge with an open-plan kitchenette and dishes made it easy to save money by making one big supply run and dining in. We loved spending quiet time in the rooftop lounge area with its gorgeous view of the ferris wheel. It has a gas grill for cooking out as well. I even saw maintenance making sure it was working. The location is a short walk from all the action without being on a main drag with crowds, and there are convenience stores and restaurants everywhere. I felt safe on the street nearby too, which is nice when often at other places women travelers get harassed. Staff was consistently kind and friendly as well as efficient -- on the couple occasions where we needed service, someone was at our door within minutes, even at night. We got a text every day from someone checking to be sure we were comfortable and enjoying our stay. The other guests I spoke too love this place -- they get return customers regularly. If you want to stay in downtown Atlanta, you can't go wrong here."
