Sugar Sands Vacation Rentals

"We booked our property through VRBO but Sugar Sands Vacation Rentals managed the property. We didn’t have any major issues during our stay-just some minor questions and they were very responsive and helpful! My husband really enjoyed the two days of golf he played using the complementary golf fees that were included with the rental. The view from our unit was great and we even watched the fireworks from our balcony. The extremely easy beach access, convenient chairs and umbrella right by the water’s edge and the pristine grounds were perfect. I left a handful of health and beauty products in the medicine cabinet when I packed to return home. Rachel went above and beyond when she bagged each product individually before boxing them to be shipped back to me and also included a personal note. I highly recommend Sugar Sands and only wish we could use their services outside the Destin/Okaloosa island areas!"

"Perfect stay in every sense. The location of the condo was perfect. Place was clean, had everything we needed. Included two chairs and an umbrella at the beach. They even had games and beach toys. Some excursions included with the stay. Couldn’t have asked for more"

"I wish I would have read the reviews before booking this place. The pool and jacuzzi was closed for most of the trip. The last few days, it did open but was filled with construction debris and was unsafe to swim in. Inside Unit #712, the floors were covered with construction dust and black mold was found growing in multiple spots in the Master Bath. The balcony couldn't be used because of the construction dust in the air. I sent several messages to the property owner during our stay, but they did not respond. I requested a partial refund and I was given the same line as everyone else posting review. After some time, I involved Airbnb and they received the same treatment as I did. There are plenty of locations to choose in the area. I would suggest booking with someone other than Sugar Sands Vacation Rentals."

"My experience with Sugar Sands and the condo #408 at the Island Princess was less than lovely. We had multiple issues with the condo and at first Tina the Sugar Sands owner began to help us. We where told by her that she would get with the owner of the condo and make it right with us. She has gone quiet and has not returned calls or messages. Sugar sands has lost my confidence. I would suggest looking somewhere else if you want to enjoy your hard earned vacation."
