Kimpton Overland Hotel - Atlanta Airport 2 Porsche Drive, Atlanta, GA 30354

"The Kimpton hotel is quite nice. It has a great view for airplanes' take-off and landing from the Rooftop bar. It is next to the Porsche experience center. The room is modern. It is equipped with double layers glasses which reduce the airport noise. Darius, the front desk officer, is professional, welcoming, and cheerful. He elevated the experience of stay and really made me feel like coming home. Greatly appreciated! The Apron restaurant has very nice ambient. The staffs are very friendly. We ordered " Beef and Egg" and "Georgia French Toast", both are delicious and beautifully presented. The hotel offers regular shuttle to domestic terminal and on-demand shuttle to the intercontinental terminal. For folks travel to international terminal, it is a nice benefit. BTW: Microwave is inside the 7th floor Ice machine room."

"This was a very nice experience. I stayed for a few short days. The shuttle service was awesome. I believe the gentleman man was David. David picked up my husband and I Monday morning and Dropped us off at the international terminal this morning also. He was very friendly and warming from beginning to end. Thank you so much I highly recommend. Hope to stay here again on our next visit."

"This hotel was very nice and I loved the location away from all the Atlanta hustle and bustle. It's right next to the airport but I didn't hear the planes once. I enjoyed watching the Porsche drivers from my window as well. Zaniya (front desk) was super friendly and I was able to check in early. They have complimentary happy hour from 5-6pm which I enjoyed. The bartender Lonnie made the evening! The heated pool is very relaxing, luckily there was nobody else in there while I was there. Will definitely be staying again!"

"This is a really nice spot with a variety of rooms/price levels to choose from. As you pull in the front there is a nice Porsche on display, makes perfect sense considering the test track next door. Some of the rooms have exceptional views and a great deal of the pricing is in conjunction with that aspect, like anywhere. We came up to meet some friends of ours who were flying out to Florida the next day. We ate at the restaurant downstairs and then went up to the rooftop bar and took in the astounding views there. The restaurant offers a fairly small selection of dishes overall. I did find it a bit amusing that one of the items, the "shortrib" is really more along the lines of a dressed up name for a bit of pot roast. It was very good nonetheless. The portions aren't particularly large, along the lines of other higher end eateries. I wouldn't say that I was left hungry but certainly wasn't full. Wouldn't have hurt them much to increase the portion a bit. Dinner and drinks are pricey which should be expected given the location. The rooms are very nice. Our friends had reserved one of the nicer upper floor rooms. It was well outfitted and comfortable with a really nice view. We ended up enjoying our time to a degree that we opted for reserving a lower level/lesser room to snooze a few hours and be sure to be safe getting back home. Even the lesser room was well outfitted and comfortable as well. The location would be a great option for a night out or a stop through on business travel. There are conference rooms and so forth on site. Its proximity to the airport is really nice. It is worth pointing out that your room key will allow egress from the parking area without paying the fee. If you just go to the restaurant or bar you do have to pay parking."

"I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Despite the fact that you are near the airport, our room was quiet. The room itself was big enough for two people, but just know that the "bathroom" is not really separated from the rest of the room (the toilet is in its own room). Pros: clean, quiet, comfy pillows, good quality TV, good choice of TV stations; close to restaurants & breweries, roof top cocktail lounge. Cons: Mattress height is slightly low (but I loved it) & is a bit on the firm side; price of self service parking lot, toilet paper holder was missing."
