Dogtopia of West Midtown

"I have been taking my dog to this facility for the past 4 1/2 years without any issues.As of late with tons of different changes in staff and management. I can no longer take my dog to this facility.after today!!! The place smells and the service level has gotten worse over the past few months. I picked my dog up today after the holiday, Half of her food was returned to me, which makes me wonder….Did they feed her at all?. I provided a very detailed feeding schedule with my dog, and each of her canned food is labeled with her name, lunch and or dinner. Half of the food was still in her bag when they returned her to me today!!! The person at the front desk could not find any of her belongings which makes me question if I got what I paid. I always put my dog in one of the suites, so the bed and all of her belongings should’ve been there. it took 15 minutes for the Associate to find my dogs belongings . I no longer trust them. They’re not consistent with their service levels. I asked the associate for the number of the manager, and for some reason the associate couldn’t find the managers number…..no surprise! We will not return to that facility..and that’s very unfortunate after 41/2 years. My dog was always excited when we arrived. They loved on her and she always enjoyed her visits in the past. But as I stated, over the last year and a half the service level as well as the individuals who work there, who have absolutely no idea what they’re doing, and should not be taking care of dogs, has diminished drastically . We will not return after today!"

"I used Dogtopia for my dog Cash at the west midtown location in Atlanta consistently and always had an incredible experience. A year later I’ve come back to Dogtopia for the first time and it was a terrible experience. The facility smelled so bad that the odor hit you walking into just the lobby. The wrong dog was brought out to me to take home which is very frightening to me that someone could just come in and go home with my dog. My dog had to use the bathroom non stop when he got home showing he clearly had not been let out and taken to use the restroom regularly. He pooped three times back to back and threw up a lot in his crate and has now thrown up three times. He also chugged so much water once home showing he was dehydrated while we were away. The webcams weren’t working during my time away and the one day they did I watched my dog sit in a crate and not be let out. I cancelled my next stay with Dogtopia and will never be coming back. My poor dog has never gotten sick from boarding but the symptoms he is showing are signs of poor treatment and neglect. I was charged $55 a day for now what will cost even more with a vet visit as a result of putting my trust in this facility."

"Had a great experience at Dogtopia! And will definitely be bringing my dogs back. I like the thorough meet and greet, the app, and all of the options they have. I truly appreciate Dogtopia making sure the employees they hire actually care about the dogs and know how to manage and deal with them, instead of just hiring kids who are looking for work. It’s not easy, so it is appreciated and a relief to know that my dogs are in good hands!"

"Love the hours, ease of using the app, and the fact we can board and you offer Sunday pickup. Luna loves play time and being able to watch live footage is great. Staff is very attentive and accommodating. All Dogtopia locations we’ve been to have been great but West Midtown takes there customer service to a second mile every time. #happydoghappylife"
