"This was our first time visiting copelands. The food was delicious and the portions were big. We ordered the crawfish bread, blackened catfish with a side of creamed spinach, and jambalaya. However, we almost didn't try this gem of a place because when we walked in, the hostess had a horrible attitude towards us. Barely acknowledged us and rolled their eyes when we said that a high top table was ok. They kept giving each other side glances and talking under their breath when going to seat us. They didn't say a word to us the entire time after that. The service rating does not apply to our server because he was amazing. Attentive and kind and checked up on us multiple times."
"Went for lunch. Biscuits were amazing. Buffalo rolls appetizer was also delicious! Favorite dish was the crawfish fettuccine. Popcorn shrimp appetizer not on menu was also great!"

Atmosphere was so calming, and though 1 waitress and waiter were not servicing our table, they were attentive to overhear our conversation and provide understanding of the restaurant and activities held in the restaurant! Impressive!!! Definitely will visit again!! Scored lower on service as our waiter was distant and other waiters were assisting at our table. He didn't even check on our water or drinks."
"We came for lunch. The food is always just the way I like it. Everything was seasoned perfectly, and the service was prompt and friendly. We had our very first date here, so this place is special to my wife and I. I'm looking forward to trying everything on the menu. It was the best catfish I ever had, and the Oyster Rockefeller were worth coming for along. We only ordered 6, but we agreed that next time, we'll order 2X dozen. But don't take my word for it. Try it for yourself. You won't be disappointed."
