"Drove a long ways to come to Jim’s Buffet & it was well worth it! The waitress Rachida waited on us like hand & foot & Caly were both awesome along with the staff. The Friday night seafood buffet was top notch especially with the snow crab legs & the salad bar was very delicious. We plan to come back."
"When we moved to this area 6 years ago, we were enchanted by this little, affordable country buffet, with the happy, friendly waitstaff and fried chicken so good you wanted to cry. In the last year, the quality has plummeted. Some of the same happy, friendly waitstaff still work there.. and it is for them that I even give this restaurant a 2 star rating. This week, we gave it one more go. $52 for 2 adults and one child. The chicken must come from a different distributor, its certainly not what it once was (although it's the same person still cooking it, and I know she always did a great job of it). The sides are just becoming low quality, mostly canned or box mixes. And the night we went, the chicken gizzards and livers were so cold, I am pretty sure they were at unsafe temps. As much as we desperately want to still love it...we just can't pay that much money for food so poorly done."
"There was a large selection of southern homestyle favourites. The chicken and pork chop were great. Some of the sides like the man n cheese, and the potatoes were processed quick prep l, and not the best. The chili available this day was the star of the show. Perfectly spiced with cumin, and very hearty. Service was great as well. The price too was more than worth the value."
"Good place. The food is good and does the trick if you are hungry. Everything was good..but nothing was great. Service was good and fast. Would be a good spot for comfort food after church. I will be back, but not in a hurry."
"Lunch was wonderful! Everything that crossed my lips was delicious. The friendly waitresses were on top of their game. Drinks were refilled several times and the buffet was replenished with fresh hot food. We will definitely be back the next time we're in town. I'm so glad we stumbled upon Jim's Buffet."
