"Small little restaurant serving quality , fresh and tasty Japanese food. Huge list of Shushis and rolls. Specially loved the "I'm hot", that was super delicious, never eaten such a roll so far around Atlanta. Tried the sweet potato roll and veggie roll too, both were equally good. They have many made in the house rolls that you can try, other than the standard California rolls and others. The restaurant is clean with good ambience and decor, and the serving staff is so hospitable and cordial. They offered several veggie options for my vegan daughter and added variety of sauces when asked. The veg fried rice was fresh, nicely cooked and very tasty. Their home made sauces were too good. Great choice for a Sushi restaurant in this area, will love to visit again and highly recommend."

"There is limited amount of parking right by the restaurant. It gets busy during the evening time. It’s located right behind the Starbucks. Seating is limited but they do take reservation. I feel like 8 might be the largest table setting they have with possibility of squeezing in another chair. Service was great! Very attentive! Bang bang shrimp: nice and crispy, sauce was very flavored (not pictured) Spicy tuna roll and spicy salmon roll: very similar in taste, did not really have a hint of spiciness to it this time. Shrimp tempura roll: very standard, my son’s favorite. Blue ocean: had the highest hope for this one but it was just okay. Rock and roll: by far my favorite! It doesn’t have any rice in it. The cilantro sauce was delicious. Also loved the texture, has a slight chew to it. Chicken fried rice: meat was tendered, the rice was well flavored and lots of variety of vegetables in it. NY steak: a bit too sweet for my liking, wouldn’t recommend. It does come with either white rice or fried rice. Alcoholic drinks are available. Overall a nice spot for sushi, everything tasted very fresh!"

"I had a chance to stop by this sushi joint for the first time today and I ordered 2 signature rolls and 1 ramen entree for takeout. No experiences are perfect and there is no way to execute the dishes in a way that they appeal to everyone. Although there were some shortcomings with my experience (some due to the inevitable subjectivity of food in general), the experience was still relatively very good and deserving of a 5-star rating. Read on for more of my experience. - Out of Control This is one of the rolls recommended by the server. I personally did not care much for it. It came with a sweet but light sauce drizzled over the roll. The sweet flavor was subtle so I liked that it wasn't overwhelming in that regard, but I didn't really notice much of other flavors and found the dish to be ultimately a little bland. - I'm So Hot I'm a fan of spicy food, and as a result, naturally a fan of spicy tuna, salmon, and other spicy seafood mixtures. I had to try this one out. This roll had a slight kick and I enjoyed it. The level of spiciness was just right and the roll overall was flavorful and tasty. - Tonkotsu Ramen The broth was thick and flavorful, but maybe too concentrated? The flavors were a bit overwhelming and it came off as salty. I had a love and hate relationship with it and enjoyed the dish and disliked it at the same time. Aside from the broth, the noodles were also a letdown as they were just cheap basic noodles, but chashu and the egg were well executed. I personally enjoyed the egg the most from this dish. The yolk was fully cooked through so I was initially disappointed but to my surprise it was super tender and flavorful and paired incredibly well with the broth. - Service As for service, there's really not much that can go wrong for a takeout order. Upon entering the store for pickup, I was promptly greeted and the entire process of making the payment and receiving my food was carried out in a timely manner. However, I had to knock a point for service due to the fact that they forgot to provide me with soy sauce when 2/3 of my order was sushi. It's a mistake that can happen but it's a critical mistake, nonetheless. - Verdict I was satisfied with my visit but not to the extent that I'll be counting the days before my next visit. If I revisit, I will definitely reorder the "I'm So Hot" roll."

"Recommended by my son in law. We had lunch here. The food was excellent but brought out in a strange order. Got the edamame and Bang Bang shrimp. Then some of the sushi. Then finally the Miso soup which unfortunately wasn't very hot and not worth ordering. My Bang Bang shrimp were absolutely amazing. Fresh shrimp in a crisp batter with the sauce on the side. The Bonefish version is nothing compared to this dish at Fukalala. The sushi was so fresh even my 7 year old grandson ate it. Usually he only has the Miso soup. We'll be back. After having tried every sushi place in Buford, Suwanee and vicinity this is the best we have found."
