"Instantly in love! The food was fantastic and even had a few dishes I was unfamiliar with. As an Indian food loving vegetarian, that’s rare! We had appetizers, mains, and dessert and everything was great. Also, the service was perfect. We had our baby with us and they sweetly chatted with her and helped entertain her, even brought the lucky cat over for her to watch! We just discovered Avinya and definitely are going to be regulars! I loved how casual it was and will be doing dine in and take out for sure. I want to try the breakfast menu next!"

"My sister told me about this place and I'm so glad she did. I had the chicken vindaloo and it was amazing. They don't have roti, but the parathas was a really good substitute. I've eaten there twice this week and plan to visit many more times."

"I have been eating Indian foods for a long time and tbh I love biriyani! But I am utterly disappointed this time. First time I ordered from Avinya and they gave me cold biriyani. They didn’t even bother to heat up the food before delivery. I took one spoon of from the bottom to double check if it was only cold on the top or not. But the whole box was cold. The biriyani was not tasty at all. Disappointed and disgusted at the same time."

"Cool new addition to the Orchard Square strip on Bells Ferry. I ordered the chicken vindaloo and asked for it hot and damn did they oblige… it was nuclear! Very good stuff. The chicken 65 appetizer was very good as well. My daughter enjoyed her massive cheese dosa. I will say I wasn’t blown away by the chicken biryani — it was my first time ordering the dish so maybe it is just not my thing, but it was pretty bland. Sad to see IC Hot go but I love Indian food so it’s could have been a worse substitution for sure. We went here opening week and it seemed that they were still finding their footing but a month or so later I see that they are quite busy quite often which is great!"
