"Not a very good place to do business with. With an 18 problem complaint, I was completely ripped off. 1 year later and still a 0 star rating. Owner never resolved any issues, and the parts return and credits have never been issued."

"The county I work for brought my service truck back to have a new knuckle boom crane with a wireless remote installed. They were told by multiple people on 2 separate occasions it needed a remote. It took 3 days longer than they said it would due to "wiring issues", when we picked up the truck, there was no remote. We were told (my boss and I) that the remote was "plug and play" and that it would cost a little extra but they would order it for us. We were in a hurry to leave due to weather, so we took the truck. When we got back to the shop, I started looking at the crane and found that it had been mounted backwards in the trunk, so in order to move a load from 1 side of the truck to the other, you would have to swing it all the way around the front of the vehicle to do so. I also found that the crane that was installed was all hydraulic, therefore no wiring tied to the vehicle's electrical system (not sure what "wiring issues" they were having during the install). They reused the old hydraulic pump, so unless they changed the hose there was almost no reason for them to even open the hood. When we brought the truck back 4 days later, they said that it would cost an additional $11k to install the remote system (?!@#$%) but "only" $7k more if the crane had been ordered with the remote already installed. Now due to the way we have been jerked around, I am going to have to work by myself without a remote in the field changing tires on the county's 6 motorgraders that I maintain. If this review doesn't convince you to take your business elsewhere, I don't know what will, and if that's the case, you deserve what you get. 11/22/21 Update: it has taken this long to fix the problems created by Park-Built due to Covid and budget constraints. We ended up taking the truck to Palfinger's facility in Atlanta to install the remote on the crane (I give Palfinger 5 stars for all their help). They had to build a subframe to mount the crane because Park-Built mounted the crane directly to the frame of the truck, which was contrary to acceptable practices and was unsafe because the crane was continually working loose due to flex and vibration and was incapable of holding it's rated capacity. After the crane and remote were installed and the crane was being tested, the hydraulic pump that was reused from the previous crane died because it didn't have the required capacity the crane needed and had to be replaced with a higher capacity unit. All together, the total cost to fix the disaster install from Park-Buit: $21000 and over a year of me working with an unsafe and potentially deadly piece of equipment. Park-Built has made zero effort to help even a little. Do yourself a favor and stay away from Park-Built. It may cost a little more to go somewhere else, but the cost of doing business with Park-Built is potentially way higher."

"Quite disappointed in our most recent purchase. We received dented and scratched boxes for our truck. When we brought it to their attention after further inspection, their response was "oh yeah, they came that way". Were they hoping we wouldn't notice? We weren't offered a discount or option to return the item, but were charged additional labor for the work."
