Walmart Auto Care Centers

"We went there to get a battery for an old truck we were trying to get running. The truck was a 60's model but we did find the correct battery in their system so all was going well up until this point. We loaded the battery in a buggy and tried to check out. A Walmart employee that must have been a manager walked right by and didn't even speak and went into the office behind the counter. When he didn't come out in a few minutes we rang the bell for assistance. He came out of the office and spoke something into the phone about someone needing assistance and went back into the office. Did not even speak to us. Then in a few minutes someone came in from the oil change area and wouldn't look at us either. I said can you help us check out and he said no and walked back outside. Finally another man came in and finally helped us but was not friendly. I wasn't mad that day because I was hot and tired and just was glad to be inside for a minute but the more I think about it, I should have just left and gone to a store that wanted my business."

"This was my first time visiting, and my experience was great. My oil light came on the night before I was going out of town. I got there at 7am thinking I would need to leave my car because the wait would be so long. It wasn't!! Trey explained everything to me, and assured me it wouldn't take long. Qua checked me out at the register. I was on my way in less than an hour. Both gentlemen were professional and presented me with great customer service. Thanks again Trey and Qua."

"I called Thurs afternoon spoke to Vicki in Tire Center she said after looking up my history that my tires were there to come in morning 7am on Friday. When I show man greet me and said they had no tires were on order also even if they could replace my 2 bald tires they had no weights in machine to balance them. He apologized I left with a safety issue of my tires. PC store needs help can't communicate with customer and empty promises dissatisfied with this."

"I went here yesterday to get my grandfather’s truck oil changed. My mother and I dropped the truck off and had no problems getting the truck back. After about thirty minutes, we received an alert that the truck was ready. I then preceded to go inside to pay and saw two employees in the seating area. One was talking very loudly on the phone and the other had headphones in and neither one of them acknowledged me or the lady standing next to me. After about five minutes, two elderly women came through the auto care lobby to leave but the door automatically locks when closed and an employee must press a button to open the door. The two ladies asked the man with headphones in to open the door and they were completely ignored by the man and I had to press the button for them just so they could leave. The excuse the man made was he was on break so he couldn’t even press a button. By this time a line had formed and I was there for about 25 minutes at this point and all I had to do was pay. Ten more minutes later the man finally started to help after another Walmart employee, not from the auto care, attempted to help the line of customers. I was finally seen and I was ready to pay and they told me they couldn’t do anything because there was no dipstick. So I waited all that time for basically no reason. The next day I went to purchase a dipstick because I assumed they were correct and my grandfather really had lost his dipstick somehow. When I went to put the new dipstick in, I saw that a dipstick was there the whole time and they just didn’t know where it was. I wouldn’t never recommend going to WALMART ever for auto care."

"Came in to get two new front tires. Tires were fine but then I realized the took my break dust shields off. I called them and a lady answered and said the manager said he would reimburse me the money for the shields. I called back a few days later to talk directly to the department manager and he said he didn’t know what I was talking about and that they don’t touch the break dust shields. (He didn’t even know what they were keep in mind.) They had no reason to touch them, the only thing they should’ve touched were my tires. Now my car is sitting at the dealership with a failed brake system. (Coincidently not even a week after my two tires were put on.) If I could give 0 stars I would. Hopefully they will to the right thing and replace my brake dust shields they took!"
