"Poison ivy! Lots of it! Watch out on the skinnier trails where it is growing right next to the trail and on the bank by the entrance with the rocks and swimming area. Otherwise, very cute and secluded trails, we even saw some clear animal tracks by the stream :)"

"Nice shady area with a small playground, swings and basketball court, plus some paved walkways. Not as manicured as lots of the other parks, but has easy creek access and the creek is stone bottom which makes for nice clear water and fun wading. Bring water shoes as there are bits of broken glass every once in while in the sandy areas."

"Beautiful trees, trail, and stream. Very natural look with some overgrown plants. Some exercise equipments need repair though."

"Many more trails here than you might expect! Be careful that you don't accidentally pass from the park over onto private property as you explore. There are no clear signs (that we saw) indicating where that transition occurs, so check out maps on the Friends of Dearborn Park pages before your trek!"
