"After calling around for price comparisons to have the windshield replaced in my 2001 Toyota Camry, I chose S & S because although they were $28 more than the lowest quote I received ($197), they are local to Jasper and my husband likes to shop local when possible. He set up an appointment for 9-11 AM time window on Tuesday. It was raining, but at 10:40 AM I hadn't heard anything from S & S, so I called them. He said he was just about to start making calls to reschedule because of the rain. Rescheduled for today, Thursday 9-11. Not a huge deal, can't replace it in the rain anyway and he hadn't missed the appointment. Thursday comes, it's after 12 PM & no call, no show. I again called them, and he said he was at the shop and would leave shortly. I told him my appointment was 9-11 and I needed to leave before 3 to take my newborn son to the doctor in Canton. (I told him about this appointment when rescheduling on Tuesday, and you can't drive your car for an hour after replacing a windshield). He said he would leave right now then, which did make things better. He showed up within 20 minutes and had my windshield finished in about 20 minutes. It does look great!!! Got in my car to take my son to his appointment, and there was shards of glass left behind on my dash from my old busted windshield. Not sure if that is something a glass professional is supposed to remove or not, but it was a little unsettling considering I have a toddler and a newborn at home, and even if I didn't I wouldn't want one of those suckers in my foot or hand either! All in all, my windshield is replaced and looks awesome. So aside from the glass & missed appointment, I would have given a 5 star review. Just some constructive criticism. I'd still use S & S and recommend them to friends."
