"If I Cld give ZERO I CERTAINLY WOULD!!!! I ordered a table from Mr Groves about 3w ago. I picked it up last Friday at his shop. He left it out for pick up. As soon as I saw it I was concerned but wanted to be the good customer and set up in house see what it looked like. I messaged him that evening to which he had a new guy... First, the table was 4” higher than I ordered. It was so rough if u touched it u wld get a splinter. The spray to paint/stain it was extremely blotchy & one side had nothing!!!! ... The wood was so rough it looked as tho it was never sanded & if it was the dust was never removed. Then the chairs were so short u sit 8” below the table. Who Cld eat from that height? I reached out to Mr Groves who said he Cld come 3d later cut table down. After talking to my husband he (husband) agreed to redo the table, which he has worked on all wk after work. We haven’t touched the chairs. The wood isn’t lined up on back, joints stick out, they are so rough u cldnt sit on them without getting a splinter. The are too short. So I message mr groves to ask if he Cld take the chairs back (he said he already had a set made is y he “discounted” then set) and refund part of my money. He opened message didn’t respond. So 24 hours later I asked about no response & if he conducted business like this? He immediately responded very rudely & said he didn’t conduct business after 5pm on Fridays although read message @815p on Friday night. We got at best $200 worth wood & work in a pile of junk to which mr groves has no intentions of making right. Did I mention I paid $675!!! Pics to come. I write this revie w the intention of letting other knows the quality of work for this business has gone down ALOT! I bought other things from him & it was 100x better!!!! Don’t waste ur money folks!"
