"Cute little very basic cabin on river. It has a hot tub on the deck off the lower room, not private but, it was relaxing to get away."

"Stayed at the Baroque Haus cabin on a family trip. The cabin was even better than the listing/photos, plenty of room for our group of nine. We loved the rustic eclectic feel inside, the large deck to relax and enjoy nature outside. Our hosts Mark and Emma couldn’t have been more welcoming and accommodating during our stay, from answering any questions about the cabin, local area shops and stores to renting a pontoon for a day and heading out onto the lake. Genuinely great people to be around, I feel we didn’t just leave having experienced a great family trip we also added a few new friends."

"We had a good time at the cabin. Being allowed to bring our dog was a huge plus, and the cabin was in close proximity to the marina and dock two for people interested in renting boats. The property manager was accommodating and attentive, and even gifted us a bottle of his homemade wild ramp hot sauce! I will recommend Burr Oak getaways to anyone looking for a quick weekend trip out of the city."
