"Definitely could use updated and renovation but I will always give at least three stars due to the fact that in the ice storm last winter they were the only place open at 7:00 for me to get some food so I'll always give them big props for that"

"Good place to get household needs, disappointed with my shopping 01/02/20, the young man didn't catch the security apparatus on the socks I bought, now I have to make a special trip back to the store. Just hoping I can locate my receipt. If not my loss."

"Would be a great place if they didn't have a DM who purposely tries to run the stores in the ground for what ever purpose he has. I've never worked for this company in any way. Never had an interview there. My wife does, did. She actually raised sales, straightened up inventory, truck orders.ect. When sales went up and inventory was right She got her hours cut ,Store manager training stopped for it.DM does not want these stores doing well. Im put down as a non rehire as he targeted my wifes family (me) because she wouldn't allow his family member to come in the store and verbally attack her in front of other employees and cuctomers. Can not believe a word that comes out of his mouth. He don't want anyone there that knows what to do to help any of these stores. Must of felt like his job was threatened.Very poor DM, wouldn't recommend anyone working under there DM.You will have to deal with personal attacks from his family while you work there ,then he will single any employee out that stands up to his family that is not associated to that store. Then target anyone associated with that employee as well as them. Very poor, unprofessional district manager. All stores under him will get worse as time goes along. You will repeatedly lose good managers as he has already done to most stores under him. Dollar tree needs to turn all these stores into Dollar tree instead of family dollar. They will lose there butts as well as raising sales as long as this family member of Family dollar is associated with them in any way."
