"This was the best eye exam I have ever had. With them having the latest technology to ensure proper eye health and sight for no additional cost. Besides having the lowest Dr. fees. The staff actually cares for you, as a person and not another number. They will work with your needs and your personal budget. Malisa, store manager, takes the time to explain why you need it and how you will use it in your daily life. Definitely take advantage of her knowledge. This was my first purchase. This is the only optical place to go to in Statesboro. Definitely a step above the competition."

"LOVE THIS PLACE! VERY clean and actually saw them cleaning & sanitizing between patients. Jayla did my exam and she was fast, efficient, & fantabulous! Charity answered my millions of questions, wasn't hesitant to help (even though she was super busy), and helped me save as much money as possible. GREAT team! Loved them! ONLY suggestion, NEED MORE DESIGNER BRANDS PLEASE!"

"I DO NOT recommend Stanton Optical. I needed to get my eyes checked and gave Stanton Optical a try. I waited about 10 minutes to be helped even though I was the only customer in the store. The eye exam was virtual and felt very rushed. The letters that you read on the wall were crooked. I told the doctor this and she called for the assistant to adjust them. The assistant seemed annoyed that she was asked to adjust the letters and they were still crooked. When the doctor gave me my prescription, she suggested that I get glasses so I ordered 2 pairs. When I put them on, they felt blurry (blurrier than my normal vision with no glasses). The employee helping me said to wear them and over time my eyes would adjust. For the amount of money that I spent, I did not leave the store feeling too confident. I wore the glasses for 2 weeks and my vision was still blurry. I went back to tell them this and the manager spoke to me in a very condescending tone. She said "Well are you wearing them all day everyday?" (Yes, I was) Then, she said they were not able to get my prescription perfect and recommended I see a specialist. Why didn't they tell me this the day of my eye exam? Why did I waste my time and money on glasses for my vision to still be blurry? It felt shady to sell me glasses when they knew my prescription wasn't perfect. The manager rudely told me to just keep wearing the glasses and hopefully it would get better. Thankfully, I trusted my gut and I went to see another eye doctor where they were thorough, friendly, and gave me an entirely different prescription that was more accurate. Overall, I don't recommend Stanton Optical in Statesboro for their unreliable prescriptions, unfriendly staff, and high prices."

"My overall experience was very poor. They shouldn't accept patients on days when there isn't an in-house doctor available for questions. I was informed that I'd need to come back another day if I had any medical queries. The virtual exam felt rushed, and my request to slow down was ignored. Additionally, I noticed that there was no cleaning of equipment between patients. As a result, I left without clear answers and will have to visit another clinic to verify my prescription. This visit was a complete waste of time and money."
