Shem Creek Place 506 Live Oak Drive, Mount Pleasant, SC 29464

"Take note the Romantic Shem Creek Nest is not an apartment and you don't much have the ENTIRE place to yourself. You share a house that is closed off room by room. Our room had duct tape to "seal" the door and make-shift tile to cover the duct tape. The walls are thin!!! The pictures are not updated. All appliances, excluding the microwave are in the closet for use. There is no sink to wash your dishes in, you have to use the bathroom sink. The outside area was AMAZING for us!!! We had friends VISIT to sit by the fire in the evening, but were made aware after our stay that we should have asked permission for visitors and to HAVE a fire in the fire pit. Make sure you pay mind to the exact location of the UNIT as they are not labeled very well. We knocked on unit "A" thinking it was ours, but were mistaken. My husband and I thankfully did not require much, so if you are looking for just a place to sleep, this is it. Great location to downtown and lots of places to eat."

"Such a cute, comfortable place to stay and so convenient to EVERYTHING. Walking distance to the local farmers market, Shem Creek and its many activities and restaurants, Okra Grill restaurant, and many other Mt. Pleasant favorites. It is also just a short drive to the beach, and to downtown Charleston. Lori was a very accommodating host who really tries to make sure her guests are happy. Highly recommend."

"Cute, quaint place loaded with all the amenities we could have possibly needed. The location was perfect within walking distance to a lot of places. Lori was very hospitable and made sure we took in all of the local attractions. We will definitely come back to the area and hopefully Shem Creek Place has an available place to stay when we do."
