"RENTERS STEAR CLEAR. I have always had perfect rental history until renting from towne park. They decided to renovate and put new carpet in (not due to my family living in the home- the carpet was original and needed replaced even before we moved in) and kept our deposit, as well as try to charge us $3800 so that they could repaint the whole house and put in new carpet, as well as many other ridiculous charges. This was 7 months ago and I’m STILL dealing with them. Do yourself a huge favor and stay away at all costs. Edited after reading the owner’s response- What their OPINION of what they consider “normal wear and tear” is beyond ridiculous. It’s stated in the contract that after living in the home for at least 3 years, normal wear and tear is not something the tenant will be charged for. Also, let it be known that I never agreed to what you were charging me, hence why I didn’t make the payment after you kept my deposit. The response below makes it seem like my family left that house trashed, which is not the case and definitely not over $5,000 worth of “damages” (after keeping my $1,400 deposit). For example- we were charged to have a whole room painted because there was a dead moth on the 20 foot ceiling. One of MANY of their completely egregious charges. It’s also really strange that you’re just now replying to your reviews, even from years ago and you always have an excuse and can never own up to anything. You have bad reviews for a reason. You might want to consider that you’re the problem and not the people leaving one star reviews."

"Highly don’t recommend ever dealing with these people EVER!! Their so unprofessional for starters they never answer the phone, and they never call you back to see what you wanted. Second they try to get money out of you any way they can. Last but not least their overall just horrible realtors. So if you can avoid ever doing business with them TRUST ME AVOID IT!!"

"Total SCAM company! Don’t get taken by this company like we did! Relocating to GA, we’re looking for properties ACAILSBLE to rent ... they kept sending me emaiks & pics of “some” listings ... but I never saw them on their website ... my mistake! I trusted the email responses & statement of “we have so many listings, we’re having trouble going through them” ... email stated also ... “feel free to apply & we’ll let you know” ... so we applied (2 of us ... so 2 fees for $100) ... very next day ... I get an email that owners accepted someone else & didn’t want to “waste my time” & my husband got a totally different email ... I requested a refund & of course, no response!!! Dont trust these people ... if you ever get the name of someone ... my mistake, again ... I didn’t notice, no names on email ... total scam! And they’re making ALL their $$$ from application fees ... and who knows if the properties are really available to rent??? Check their website before applying ... at least!"
