"After being a customer for many years, this is the first bad experience I've had with H&R Block; I will not be using this H&R Block office again. H&R Block provided IRS with the wrong routing and account number (not the one I provided and which I had always used when filing my taxes with H&R Block); I called the H&R Block office to request assistance getting my refund money back which was deposited into someone else's bank account due to an error caused by their office. I was told that there was nothing they could do to get my refund back. I was told the person who did my taxes was too busy due to tax deadline so he would be unable to help me out. I was told I would have to call IRS my self and call the bank where my money was sent to see what they could do. I spent several hours/days on the phone with IRS and the bank where my money was sent in error, only to find out that I will have to wait 120 days before IRS can research my issue to determine if they can recover my refund. Don't believe the "Piece of mind" advertised by this office as it is not as stated in their commercials. Their customer service is the worst I've experienced; I have yet to be contacted by this office to follow-up on this issue; I did received an email from their District General Manager thanking me for my business and requesting my feedback, to which I replied providing details of my issue and this office terrible customer service. As expected, I never received a response or acknowledgement of my concerns. No one from H&R Bloc botter to follow up with me to see if my issue was ever resolved. Terrible customer service! 5/17/23 Update: As requested by H&R Block's reply to my negative review I contacted their support team to only be told that there is nothing they can do. Please stop waisting my time and playing games with your customers, it is obvious you never intended to provide assistance of any kind; your words are just a disguise to let public think that you are doing something to correct your error when you are not. If I could give a 0 rating I would."
