"Friendly service at the front desk. I've visited a few times and never see big crowds. Base price for office visit is $120 (best in town) but other procedures (like lab tests) will cost more. Administrators won't tell you how much these extras will cost or give an approximation. (Apparently, the "No Surprises Act" of Congress does not apply to Immediate Care Centers or bills under $400.) This is important because if you are a self-pay patient or your insurance doesn't cover all fees, you could get hit with a big additional bill aside from the fee you pay for your office visit. I had a bacterial infection on my finger, and the medical practitioner did a simple culture test to be sent to a lab. After paying the base fee, I thought the test was included because no one informed me that I would have to pay an outside lab. About two weeks later, I get a bill in the mail for $225. This is why you have to ask ahead of time about every single procedure and find out specifically what will be included in the base fee and what will not. Thankfully, I was offered the option to contact Accordia CEO Kim Wildes, and she worked out a significant discount for me with the lab. That was a decent gesture. In the future, I think Accordia personnel should be a bit more forthcoming (verbally) about extra bills BEFORE a particular procedure is done. (For example, If we do this bacterial test on your injury, a bill will be sent to you from the lab that will exceed our base fee. And it could cost hundreds of dollars.) The general written note about extra costs is not enough and not specific. On the positive side, Accordia did help me deal with the infection, and my finger got back to normal. But the lab test did not play any part in my recovery. (I was already prescribed an antibiotic, so the lab test was done, according to the medical practitioner, in case the antibiotic didn't work. In other words, it was not urgently needed). If I had known about the very high extra outside bill, or if I were told, "A lab will bill you, but we don't know what it will cost," I would have declined the test."

"I started going to Accordia Family Practice back in September and everyone on the staff is super friendly and professional. They get you in and out quick, but also do a excellent job when you do see them. I not only use them as my Primary Provider, but I also use the Urgent Care part also, which I broke my foot and they were so supportive and helpful in that aspect also.
