"It was ok, we went to check it out because it was my friends birthday. The bartender wasn't very helpful. He didn't help make any recommendation. I had a glass of mead which was $20.00. I can buy a whole bottle for $40. At total wine and more. There is no food here and if there was he didn't offer. Now next store was a restaurant. It your not a beer drinker really this is not the place for you. There isn't any other choices. I personally wouldn't go back."

"Omg! This place was amazing. Not only do they have an excellent selection of craft beers, but the people here are beyond nice! We had our wedding at The Refinery in October and we had the whale and sweet grass open for our bars! Jesse at The Whale was so easygoing and accommodating, it made my life so much less stressful! Drew the bartender killed it with his knowledge of beer and his great personality! My guests won’t stop raving about their time here. HIGHLY recommend coming here not only for your future events, but just as a casual drop in. Thank you guys for making my day even more special! We will be back soon!!"

"I visited The Whale on the evening of 24 January while out brew hopping with three of my adult kids and daughter-in-law. We first met at BrewLab, where I had sodas (Dry January). After a while we headed to The Whale for a change of scenery and more variety. While my kids were deciding, I asked the barkeep if they had any non-alcoholic brews, to which he replied “several” and began the list. I WAS DELIGHTED! Something I could drink with my crew. I had Untitled Art’s non-alcoholic West Coast IPA and was thoroughly impressed as were the others in my party. The DJ (literally) was spinning classic vinyl and we were really enjoying ourselves. Both the barkeep and DJ were really helpful and made it a great time. Good clientele too."

"We arrived and thought we had gone to the wrong place! But tucked around the corner, we found it. Absolutely love the 80s vibe. They even had a little pop up with vendors and we ended up getting two 80s vintage jackets. It was a windy day though so we stayed inside the bar area. Very solid beer selection. Got there before it was crowded but did appreciate they let people bring their dogs inside. Would definitely come back here again!"
