"I've been going to this place almost for 8 years. Yesterday I had an appointment for 10 am. She called me at around 915 and asked me to come at 12. Cool. I come at 12 and I'm sitting in the chair for an hour and a half and she still hasn't started ony hair. Didn't acknowledge me I was waiting. Just sitting there with no explanation and wasting my time. I already missed an engagement I had because she had to reschedule but for me to sit there for over an hour and she still hadn't done my hair is unacceptable. Then she went up on the price of her styles. You have to take going to these braid shops with a grain of salt. Multiple people will more than likely work on your head, having an appointment doesn't mean anything, and they braid tight as hell. I won't be returning and told my family and friends that are regulars not to return either. Just unprofessional and inconsiderate"

"Cornrow’s that was two days old. Cost 85$ and Adele and her associate proceeded to tell me that I was swimming and that’s why my hair looked like this. I advise all of them I had not been in the pool or any water for my hair to look like this in two days. I was on a trip out of the country with my braids looking like it was three weeks old. When asking for my money back or a redo, Adele advised me to come back in to get them redone. When I get there today they told me I had to repay for something they did wrong. They continued to say I had been in water for my hair to look this way. So instead of honoring what she told me she would redo she continue to basically call me a lier . She nor anyone in this shop will touch my hair nor anyone connected to me. This is not customer service. This is blunt disrespectful how she treats her loyal customers! Never again will she see my money !"

"One braider (Blessing) started, then another stylist (Keisha)joined her. After getting home and attempting to pull braids into a ponytail, I found a section of hair unbraided. I have larger braids in the front and smaller braids in the middle and back. Over the course of 3 weeks, I have had several braids around the edges to come out. The parting is uneven and random (they used a metal duck bill clip to part some sections), and some braids include hair that spans from other sections ( in other words, they just grabbed hair and braided...no definition and neatness). This was my first and last visit....the pictures posted are after 3 weeks"

"The braids were cute but not worth the pain or aggravation to ME. To each his own. The stylist who did my hair was late to my appointment, took forever to do me and my daughter's hair and my daughter's style only lasted for 10 days and it hurt the entire time. My scalp was left with scars and she didn't even do the style I asked for. My head hurt for the entire 8 days I had MY braids in to the point I couldn't even sleep for days without PM medicine. When I initially told her that she did my hair wrong (while still sitting in her chair), she told me she would take $20 off the NEXT visit. I doubt I will EVER return. If I do, it will be for one of the other stylists. I even feel as if I was overcharged because it WAS NOT the style I asked for. She kept stopping to talk on the phone and text even though I told her I was on a time limit. The style took WAAAYYYYYY longer than I expected because I ended up waiting 45 minutes for her to show up late. I also explained to her that I haven't had braids in my hair in 15 years and that I was worried about getting braids because I was scared of hair loss because I'm natural. When I took my braids out, a lot of my hair came out with them. If my hair wasn't so thick, it would be noticeable. So disappointed because she was SOOOOO nice, but NEVER again. LOVED THE GOSPEL MUSIC THEY PLAY!"
