Poblanos Mexican Bar & Grill

"Poblanos has good food and it comes out pretty quick considering how busy they were. Had to wait for a table for about 20 min on a Thursday night, for a party of 3, but the place was packed, not an open table or parking spot anywhere. Carnitas were pretty good, I would give them about a 7 out of 10 score. It's typical Mexican food and menu that you get in the CSRA, not going to blow you away, but good quality, quick service and a reasonable price. The downside, if you are going for conversation and meeting with other folks that you need to communicate with, it is very loud when it is this busy and you can hardly hear yourself think, much less the person on the other side of the table. So if you just want to go to eat, you will be fine, but if you are going for fellowship or camaraderie then you may want to consider the less busy times or going somewhere else."

"We had an outstanding experience at this local restaurant! Karina provided outstanding service, making our dining experience memorable. The carnitas street tacos with green sauce were incredibly delicious, and the combination plate with a tostada and tamal was sooo good. My husband enjoyed the enchilada and burrito, and said the flavor of the chicken inside the burrito was amazing. The dishes were not only flavorful but also huge and very fresh. We're definitely looking forward to returning!"

"If you're looking for authentic Hispanic food, this is definitely one of the best places in the CSRA! Karina was wonderful and really friendly! Everything was delicious and authentic. I had the carnitas street tacos and a burrito. The tacos are double wrapped so they don't fall apart. They fill them up! I'll be making this a new weekly visit!"

"Decided to do Poblanos for takeout as it was nearby, and for the most part enjoyed it. The order was ready very fast, less than 9 minutes, and the food was hot and fresh. Got my go-to, which is the chile colardo (stewed pork in a red sauce) which came with rice, beans, and chips. The pork was tender and flavorful, and the chips were hot and fresh and the salsa tasted good as well. As for the rice and beans, that is where my main grievance comes in. Due to the entree being packed in the same container as the rice and beans, it all ended up being mixed together. I couldn’t enjoy the beans and rice individually as I normally do, but thankfully the flavors of the main dish balanced well with the other items. In the future, I would recommend whoever packs to-go orders to put the rice and beans in a separate container if the main entree is stew-like or very saucey, unlike a typical entree. Overall, was still a pleasant experience that I would recommend."

"AMAZING FOOD! Great service. The food is great and the street tacos are packed full of meat! They don't skimp at all! Chorizo Cheese dip is absolutely great also! If you're in the area stop by. It's worth the stop and I will be back."
