Shane's Rib Shack

"Given the name of this place, I came in expecting great ribs. While the ribs were cooked perfectly in my view (clean separation from the bone, but still some good chew), they were essentially flavorless. No smoke, no marinade, nothing. It’s like they were steamed. Sides were pretty good, service was fine, and the place was clean. If you like slathering ribs in sauce, this might be a good place to try."

"First time here of course I ordered Ribs since it’s called Shane’s Rib shack. There was little to no seasoning on the ribs, they where however very tender. The Bid Dad sandwich same, there was no real seasoning to it. The bread was buttery and good though. The best thing was the Loaded Buffalo Shack Fries the (chicken again no seasoning). I would just say add seasoning to the meats when cooking and it would be much better, don’t rely on just the sauces which should enhance the flavor of the food not be what carries the food. P.S. lady at the counter on 11/7/23 around 4pm if someone tells you they have never been there before looking at them like a deer in headlights not a good look."

"Shane's is always slappin, smackin, crackin, and never lackin. I've had their ribs and well it's a rib shack soooo yeah. Today I got the grilled chicken tenders lunch basket and although it seems small it's delicious. Their prices are fair and it's a very nice atmosphere."

"This is a 6 piece chicken tender? Are you kidding me? I could put these all together and it wouldn't add up to 1 single chicken tender. Most of it is gristle & over fried making it inedible. Absolutely the last time I even bother with this establishment. Also no sauces, not the ones included with the meals or the ones I paid for additionally. Absolute trash. Before the pandemic, the chicken tenders were the size of chicken breasts and you could barely eat 2 before you were full. My husband and I would split a 6 piece and have leftovers the next day. You have a 12-piece "family" size tenders and this is what half of that meal looks like? This whole establishment is a joke."

"2023-05: Recently had some food delivered via a third party delivery service. My review is based solely on the food and does not include any aspects of the delivery service. I've also been a customer several times here, in person, over the past few years for take out and dine in. This most recent time, I had a Big Dad BBQ Pork sandwich combo with Mac & Cheese. It was delicious. Plenty of meat with good flavor. The Mac & Cheese was alright, nothing special but I would eat it again."
