"Dr. Fana is a remarkable dentist and he's an astute business person, which combined offer a somewhat rare mix of character attributes. He invests substantially in his business; imaging equipment, tools, infrastructure, people, etc. These are things I notice as I'm also responsible for capital investments for the businesses I have. When he recommends a procedure, he readily brings out useful 'tools' that really assist in conveying why he is recommending whatever treatment he is through a combination of articulation and supportive imaging - very well explained. Further, Dr. Fana seems pragmatic in his approach to providing dental wellbeing and recommendations. He is an advocate of preventive maintenance, which I like. He is also a realist and from what I've experienced, actively recommends pragmatic treatment options based on a wide variety of indications."

Carla, my hygienist, was quick to explain procedures, gentle and thorough with teeth cleaning, informative regarding dental care and helpful in recommending dental care products. "I'm not gonna lie, I avoid going to the dentist due to my long-term dental anxiety and poor past experiences. I'm so glad I randomly stumbled on Compass Dental in a Google search. I was having some discomfort and contacted the office and from the moment they picked up the phone the staff was just wonderful. Malaysia was my first point of contact and she went above and beyond trying to get me on the schedule last minute. She was also able to provide a lot of helpful information so I knew what to expect and remained warm and kind over the course of several phone calls. Next, Kimberlee did a great job making me comfortable before and during the actual exam due to her geniune way of interacting with me. She really helped break the ice so I could relax and let go of my dental fear. Meeting Dr. Fana was such a relief and breath of fresh air because he took time to actually listen to me. I've met a lot of Dentists in my day and have usually felt like a number but not so with Dr. Fana. It seemed he wanted to make an actual connection which is so helpful in quelling anxieties. I left the office thinking what a great visit/experience it had been - especially when these appointments are typically dreaded by me.
