"Just gotta say “Thanks” to Tom for helping me out with a new Allez Sport when my +30 yr old steed up and died. Great shop!"

"10 stars to this store and Tom... he fixed my granddaughter's flat tire while we waited and took the time to check out her newly purchased used bike... gave her some tips and could not have been any kinder. Thank you."

"Tom is friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and a great mechanic. He keeps the shop stocked with a pretty complete range of tools, parts, accessories … pretty much anything you need for any kind of riding. And if he doesn’t have it in the shop, he can usually get it. Great shop all around."

"Tom (owner) is a straight shooter and keeps one of the most clean and organized workshops I have ever seen (even outside of cycling)! He fixed a nagging problem that I had on my Fat Bike since it was delivered and it cost only about $35. The hours are convenient for the customer. A true gem in the Hudson Valley. My next bike is from Breakaway Cycles for sure, once the manufacturers deliver them."

"As I got older I thought my mountain biking glory days were behind me.  I tried a few crappy e-bikes before, but getting my hands on the insane Specialized Turbo Levo was night and day.  Instead of getting a sub-par bike online that you would literally fight all the way up a hill, the Specialized changed the way I ride.  Now I'm back in the saddle - and able to outride my buddies half my age.  Tom at Breakaway is the best and the Specialized bikes are worth the investment.  Highly recommended."
