"Sticky Fingers at Hampton Inn and Suites on Washington Road. Don't leave anything of value in your room when you leave it. Don't let housekeeping in your room during your stay unless you are in the room. My laptop disappeared while I was out of the room. The laptop was not out in the open, ever. It was in my carryon luggage. Whoever took it went through my luggage! I brought this to the attention of the management upon my return to home. I wanted to be absolutely certain that I didn't leave it at home and did in fact take it with me. So that you know, I didn't check my bags and had them in my sight or possession the entire length of my trip to Augusta. Marcus, the assistant manager, promised a thorough investigation and that he would get back to me just as soon as soon as it was completed. Over two weeks later, I had to call Marcus. He gave me a song and dance about how he viewed video tapes and checked here and there and everywhere, but, found nothing. I didn't expect Hampton Suites to reimburse me for the laptop, but I did expect a phone call reporting the results of the alleged investigation. I suspect that I am not the only victim of sticky fingers at the Hampton Suites in Augusta Georgia. Find another place to stay where the people mean what they say and the staff doesn't feel like they can steal with impunity."

"I would have to say that the location and the service of this particular get away stay is absolutely incredible. Although I had issues with my room and the fact that there was dirty clothes from previous customers, I will say that the customer service was pretty good and the inside of the facility was very clean. I would mark this up as maybe a one time mistake as to the issues of the room and maybe make a new reservation for a new review soon! Other than that the stay was pretty pleasant and comfortable."

"For those of us with Celiacs, it's best to play it safe and have your own food you need on-hand. My daughter also is allergic to wheat, so a free breakfast is also a minefield. I asked the lady in the breakfast area what the ingredients are to the Turkey sausage. She said the box was thrown away and had a really condescending attitude. The staff here across the board isn't warm or friendly at ALL. There are no soft skills taught or expected. I asked the front desk to pass on to management that it would be great if they were serving food to the public that allergy information be provided at the very minimum. The lady at the front desk said that in all her years of working there no one had ever complained or asked. It's 2023. Food allergies are a thing. I did have items on hand back in my room so my breakfast was covered, but the fact remains if you're offering breakfast included in your rates, the least you can do is get with the program as a company. As far as the rude staff- we won't be back. Even calling for extra towels (family of 5) or linens for the pull out bed were a hassle for this place. As far as location- the area is right off the interstate and is sketchy."

"The gentleman that checked me and out I think would have been OK if I had never been born. He was not the least bit welcoming, didn’t even say hello just greeted by saying “last name.” However, the room type I had selected was not available, so I was given a nicer room. It was extremely nice and spacious. Also very clean. Would recommend this hotel for the price and convenience."

"Some things were good and some bad. The receptionist, Hope, was so friendly and sweet. The lobby was beautiful and the breakfast was surprisingly tasty, especially the potatoes. The room would have been nice except that it was very dirty. None of the counters, desktop, nightstands, or any other surfaces were wiped down. There was dust everywhere and food debris from the previous occupant. There were bits of toilet paper on the bathroom floor. It was not clean in my room. Further, the blackout curtains in my room didn’t actually cover the WINDOW! A bright streetlight from the parking lot shined into my room the entire night and affected my sleep. I would rate this stay 1 star if not for the kind staff."
