"If I could give no stars, I would—albeit google needs something I guess. So let me plainly lay out what you’ll expect with this company. No deliveries for months on end, a freezing house (and frozen water pipes), and no point of contact to work out a solution. I think I’m more than a reasonable guy, but whether it’s the incompetence of their folks, or lack of concern, I have to do what’s best for my family and this was to leave and go with Heller’s Gas. They deliver automatically, I’ve never had a run out, and more importantly I will never have to pay $2,000 in plumbing expenses ever again!"

"First off they want you to call when the tank is at 30, then throw a fit when I called and was at 25, I’m sorry I was 5 gallons off. Then they cannot give a delivery date but will gladly take my money. Finally they showed up today just to walk around the house and leave I’m now under 10 gallons hah! Can’t wait to call in the morning and let them know they have to open the gate to my fence as they’ve done the past 5 or so years. Can’t wait for spring to drop this junk company. Reading other reviews guessing I’ll have a problem with them coming to get the tanks. That’s no problem I’ll give them a week or so and they’ll go to the road with a free sign."

"20° outside and they tell you it will take 7-10 days for a fill up. When that is your main heat source. You ask about emergency delivery, willing to pay a fee for it, and they say that they’re not offering that right now. Have had nothing but issues with them since we started. Currently looking for a new propane provider. The tank was there when we moved in, but the switch is worth the hassle."

"Have had Johnston's tank sitting road side since October 18th, still haven't picked it up! , I switched providers because my request for fuel delivery was ignored for over 2 months ,no reason you should have to contact a company constantly and still not get any where"

"My son bought a house and this company already had a tank at the house. He called them like 5 times about changing the service into his name. Then never called back and he ended up going with Country Propane - which is a great company - I have been with them for almost 30 years now and never had a problem. My son finally did get someone to pick up the phone and he told them to come pick up their tank. It's been like a month now and the tank is still there in his lawn. I honestly don't know how this company stays in business. Edit: In response to the owner, my son already called the office multiple times and was ignored. What makes you think that calling yet again is suddenly going to change anything? It's been months and you still have not picked up your tank. This company is grossly incompetent."
