"Anyone who says this pizza is really good hasn't had other pizza downtown. I went in last week for my first slice ever and was pretty disappointed. I got mushrooms which basically consisted of an entire can of canned mushrooms w/ garlic flavor on top of an old slice of cheese reheated. The cheese pizza itself was super basic tasting also. I would never buy pizza here again tbh."

"Pretty good pizza shop in historic Charleston. Pizza slices are gigantic, I was impressed. Didn’t necessarily think the restaurants “TO-GO” method of packing the slices were up to par but nonetheless the pizza was good and I will go back."

"The vibe I get is ‘hole in the wall’. For $12 you can get a HUGE slice of pizza, sauce, dessert, and drink. They don’t have fountain drinks, but they do have a decent selection of bottle drinks. The cookie was also decent size. The combo was enough for us to share. Everything was delicious. The seats are hard. The foot rails, seats, and tables are awkward. You have to sit almost at the edge of the seat to use the foot rails. The awkwardness made my knees lock up and hurt. I found the decor meh. The space is small and nothing is real eye popping. It’s one big mural and then a bunch of random college decor and stickers."

"First time to Charleston and our hotel recommended Benny's. Immediately on entering we should have left. The staff behind the counter were not friendly. Yes the size of the pizza slices were large, 1 slice will do you. The price per slice is high but in fairness everything in Charleston is high priced. When we ask for a box to carry out the extra piece of pizza we were handed a paper bag. No smiles no thank yous no we appreciate your business. Very disappointed. We would not repeat eating here."

"Amazing pizza! Huge slices! Was gonna order two for myself until the lady told me how big they were! One slice is more than enough!! My girl got the chicken pesto slice which I had a few bites of, also amazing! Good price for what you get. 14 inch slice with no flop??? Good cheese, right amount of sauce, cooked well… 9.4/10! That’s a review!"
