"4 cashiers standing at the 1st register & 1 of them yelling to the line to use the self check out (whilst the people at the self check outs were having issues) i stead of opening a 2nd register to keep the line moving! The line had more than 7 people on that line, yet the associates were talking among themselves instead of providing customer service. They should be re-trained on customer service and keeping the line moving."

"I have been to this location twice in three weeks trying to find materials to frame some art. Everything is slim pickings and instead of just offering nice low prices, everything is BOGO or even get two free. Not helpful when I only need one item. Tried to purchase uncut mat board but the few pieces available on the shelves are so beat up that they’re not usable. Clearly the store would rather you shop online."

"I live pretty close to this Michaels, but typically will drive an extra 20 minutes to Cross County so that I can actually have someone check me out. I had to run in and just get candles today, so decided to risk it. I walked in and saw two ladies working behind the counter, so I proceeded. I got what I needed and, of course, a few things I didn't need. Then I went to checkout as the lady is checking me out while I use my credit card she yells to everyone in line that if they are using credit cards they should be using self checkout. Michaels, please note that if I wanted to work in your store, I would pick up an application and apply. I don't work for you, I am a customer. All I SHOULD be doing in your store is buying stuff. I guess I will continue to drive 20 minutes out of the way if I need to shop at Michaels...or get things delivered from Amazon."

"Went a week or so ago. So many shelves empty. All xmas picks were gone. A few larger xmas floral bunches extremely over priced, even with the 50% coupon. Only one manned cashier, all others self serve, leaving no choice to check out yourself."

"This is the worst experience I’ve ever had with an online pick-up order. I ordered six of an item, and got text messages saying the order is ready for pick-up. I picked up within the timeframe, but when I arrived, I was given only one item. I went inside to explain that my order contain six of the item, and the staff member said only one was available. I was never notified that my order was incomplete, leading me to believe that my order would be ready when I arrived. I had even received two text messages saying that my order was complete and ready for pick-up. In my frustration, I called Michael’s customer service, and they were unable to even offer to ship me the items. If I had known that the items were not ready, I would not have gone to the store to pick them up, and I would’ve chosen to pay for shipping instead!! The customer service agent told me that I would need to place my own online order for the items, so I did. I was told the items would be arriving in 4 to 6 days. It is now the sixth day, and I just got an alert that a label for shipping has been created (and thus is nowhere near arriving at my home). As a result, now I will not have the necessary items in time. This is the worst experience I’ve ever had with online ordering/pick-up/shipping, and I do not plan to ever shop at Michael’s again due to this incompetence."
