"I want to start off by saying I absolutely love my apartment here and the people who live here, but WOW is this apartment the gift that keeps on giving. I moved here in 2022-my toilet backed up every 3 weeks-I got blamed over and over again.I knew it wasn't me, but required insane plumbing work every time this happened. Turns out after 8 months it was the tenant downstairs Lift and their salt for their "float business" ruined the pipes which I am connected too. Even after admitting that was the issue and it wasn't me, I never got money back. Two months later I get roaches. They use a cheap exterminator that had to come 5 times and these bugs kept coming back. I had to move out for a period of time because they were everywhere-did I get money back, no. FINALLY now that it is cold and the tenant location was cleaned out the bugs are gone. NOW the SNOOKI SHOP is moving into where LIFT is and there is banging and drills all hours of the day. Every tenant has complained and reached out to management, and they do little to nothing. There is no compassion for the fact that this is peoples HOMES. I work from home and cannot even take calls. Have they offered us any money back for dealing with this, no. Not to mention the prices we all pay are ridiculous, which fine if things were normal, but the fact that nothing is getting resolved is sad. Such great people live here, and we are just ignored 9/10. It's a shame."

"Showed up for a 10:30appointment to view 1bedroom apartments. We get there and the representative Lea was nowhere to be found. Didnt pick up multiple calls. Then we found out by calling the number on the door that the place is sold. Horrible experience and they have rats don’t shop or live here."

"If you are looking for a great location in downtown Huntington Village (aka "Midtown East"), Heatherwood Luxury Apartments, 40 Gerard Street, are an excellent place to live. Although there is no space for traditional amenities, residents can walk the village to restaurants, theatre, movies, library. independent bookstore, parks, and churches. We have lived here several years, and we have received outstanding support from maintenance, community management, and business offices. This is one of the older "new" apartment buildings in Huntington, but ages beautifully. (When I walk around town, I see newer (and more expensive properties) where major repairs are being made after their first couple of years. Heatherwood lives up to its Silver Award as a LEED construction. The building is so tight that we never feel any drafts, and we are amazed at the lack of dust, spider webs, etc. Last winter, we had a problem with our heating system, and a crew of seven stayed until we understood the reason for a short in the system, and they repaired it. Heatherwood Apartments also have central A/C. Here again, a problem with coolant was taken care of professionally and expeditiously."
