He also brought to my attention things I would have never noticed and eased my worries on a lot of things. "I did not want to hire Mr. Salmon based on the multitude of bad reviews, but given our numerous home issues and legal urgency, he was the only home inspector we could find within the time frame available. He was very arrogant, spoke badly of realtors in general and many builders almost the entire time, including how inadequate and incompetent The ARISTO Company (our horrible home builder) is. Most of the inspection included defects we already knew that were pretty obvious like uneven drywall. He did point out our tile was also poorly installed, uneven and cracking due to water damage, and when we told him our story of selecting tile at the Tile store but it was delivered with price sticker from Home Depot, he said ARISTO was known to "switch n' bait" to many home buyers! Overall, we really did not gain a whole lot of new information from Mr. Salmon and it was clear he is all about making money rather than sincerely interested in helping customers improve their home. He was pushing us to consider new windows too--it is no wonder since he is promoting Wonder Windows now!"

So when buying a house calling Jim was an easy decision. Given the size and complexity of the property it was critical to us to have the protection of a thorough inspection. Within 5 minutes of beginning his work I knew we were in good hands . He looked at every inch of the home. He spent three hours examining every system and structure. He explained everything we was doing and why. When he was done he reviewed each of his findings and answered all of our questions.
