"Super helpful folks at the desk, ask about the Allegany 18 and Centennial 7 trail kits, great maps and a completion bonus! Park merch in the shop and delicious food in the restaurant, great service, our recent trip we had beef on weck between trails!"

"Moderately priced restaurant at Red House Allegany. Went during off season during the week and it had a very limited menu. Likely menu options will improve during the summer."

"Beautiful place for a family vacation. Many things were closed or canceled due to Covid 19. So be sure to bring your own fun. Lots of opportunities for trail walks, bike riding, canoeing, fishing, and swimming when the swimming area is open. Many very large campers with large parties. Some apparently unaware of quiet hours. Be prepared for poor cellular reception. The park prepares you well for the possible presence of bears. Bear lockers were provided and in great shape. As well as a recycling and refuse center to drop off trash and recycling nightly."
