"We booked the hotel looking forward to the Fireside Lounge only to find out it has been closed for months and not disclosed when booking. Went to use the pool and hot tub only to find out it was also closed for renovation. When entering the room, the chair had 2 broken legs and was unsafe to sit on unless up against a wall. The bathtub had mildew around all the edges and a rusty drain."

"There is no fire side lounge, Closed in October and it’s still used as an attraction on the website. Pool is closed and is still used as an attraction on website. There is a room on each floor that is labeled vending and ice… there is ice and no vending. Ice machine was broken. The spa bath had rust on drain and handles, mold in corner of tub. The front desk is usually occupied with a be back shortly sign. The furniture in room is outdated legs falling off chair and old furniture smell in room. The only positive is this hotel is located in the same parking lot as a Burger King and gas station for convenience. Other than that I feel this place is misleading and mismanaged. I am glad I gave this place a try before my event that would have booked this hotel out for a week. 0/10 if not for location."

"Do not book a stay here. I am warning you. This place will steal your money. They charged us $250 under the lie that we were smoking. The “good” reviews are either fake or from when it was still a Holiday Inn. Pay attention to the bad reviews. They all mention the same things. DO NOT STAY HERE. Staying anywhere else will save you money."

"This place is extremely unprofessional. I have been dealing with them since July about a bogus $250 “smoking” charge that they still have yet to refund. And they absolutely should, considering we don’t smoke! When we called the first time, back in July, the employee on the phone was incredibly rude, snarky, condescending, and refused to be of any help. He also lied about being the manager/supervisor. When we called a second time, the apparent manager was a bit more professional but still no help. I asked for documents showing my signature relating to this policy, and there were none sent to me. There was a generic reservation document and an unsigned “smoking” policy sent to me. When we asked if there was any proof at all of our smoking, she could provide none - because we don’t smoke!!! She then promised to pass along our complaint with the supervisor. We never got a call from anyone else after that. I hadn’t followed up after this because I assumed the charge was reversed. Not the case at all. I called again last week, now in October, after this $250 charge reappeared on my statement after the dispute window closed. I spoke with yet another third employee who promised to pass along the information and that I would get a call on Monday. It is now Saturday and I have not received a call. This place will steal your money and have zero second thoughts about doing it. It’s unprofessional and its employees have no regard for their patrons. Because it is privately run, rather than corporately, I can do nothing about their conniving actions. And neither can you. And they know it. Beware."

"White Pine is a no frills hotel. Staff very friendly and room was clean. Hotel a bit dated. I didnt see or smell any pot during my Fri evening stay. Hotel is very close to casino and some dispensary's. Pillows were the most comfortable i have ever experienced. You did order breakfast on a piece of paper when you check in. You pick it up the next morning. No complaints. Good value."
