"My sisters and I stopped by to get pedicures after a year of not going. Life gets busy. We wanted a central location that all of could easily get to. I am very happy to have found Victor Rd Salon. I liked the brightness and the selection of OPI colors. The staff was beyond friendly and inviting. We got some New Year’s gifts on our way out including $10 off our next visit and moisturizer. I feel the pricing to be fair. Didn’t quite understand the 6% cash discount as the posted price of $30 for a pedicure is what I paid in cash. No signs said that the posted price was the cash price, but it was so reasonable that I didn’t mind. I’m a stickler when I see cash discounts at shops or gas stations - I just don’t like it, personally. But I understand why the business does it. I had cash so I paid cash. But in a world where convenience is key, blatantly asking for cash is something I find a bit tacky. Off my ‘cash please’ soapbox- this salon was fantastic. I will definitely be back."

"I've been going here since pre-covid. I've recommended them highly over the years and brought friends with me multiple times. Yesterday is my last time. For the last year, every time I've gone, there have been small things that I've been unhappy with, but nothing major - my mani wouldn't be great, but my pedi would be fantastic, so I kept returning hoping that it would get better and return to how they used to be. Today, my pedi was abysmal. There is no way the nail tech did not see what a splotchy paint job he did. It looked atrocious. I am uncomfortable with confrontation and did not feel comfortable asking it to be redone. I didn't notice it until we were leaving. This was not a small mess up or that I nicked the nail. This was a bad paint job. Looking at the photos close up, I can see he didn't trim my cuticles. During the service, it was quick so I thought maybe they weren't bad since I had had a pedi recently. The pictures speak for themselves. My mani was also not good. They've cut corners for the last couple years. They no longer soak your hands and give you a real manicure if you want gel. They just push back your cuticles dry and do minimal trimming. They now no longer soak the gel off, they drill it off. The nail tech nicked my skin on my right pinky so much that it hurt (which has never happened to me before when I've had my gel polish drilled/filed off), I pulled my hand away, and my finger started bleeding. That happened two more times, although the other fingers did not start bleeding. My cuticles were not trimmed. Once I got to the car I noticed that almost all of my finger nails were filed unevenly. One side is round, the other square. How did he not notice that? The edges of my nails are not painted. Surprise surprise, today, less than 24 hours later, I have a chip in my thumb nail. I paid $85. I now have to go find somewhere else to fix this mess and pay double. Looking at the pictures, it looks like I did not get a manicure or a pedicure and like I painted my own toes and had someone just put polish on my fingers."

"My daughter (15) went with a friend and her mom. It was the first time there for all of them. The girls got a dip extension and the mom got a pedicure. The gentleman that did my daughter’s nails rushed and had finished hers before the pedicure. You could completely tell he rushed. The nails were lumpy, the polish didn’t completely cover the nails, the one had a bubble that he filled with glue and he made her finger bleed when filing her nails and skipped her cuticles. When she pointed out the polish issues, he said it was fine. The worst part is he charged her $10 extra. I’m sure to get a tip he didn’t deserve. We went back for them to make it right and she had the same gentleman. He made it clear he wasn’t happy by the way he was pulling her hands, faked trimmed her cuticles, filed some of the lumps out and repainted but still didn’t cover the whole nail. We won’t be going back. The friend and the mom were both happy but because of the way they treated my daughter, they won’t be going back either. So they lost 4 potential clients."

"I chose a package. I was rushed through my manicure. I did not receive what was done before. I went to pay... Asking why I did not receive all services listed. They pointed to a Calendar saying they stopped doing that on 28 March. continuing to charge for the package... without the services. The next day my nail started to chip. It's been less than a week. My hands look horrible. Most of the nails have some kind of chip. I had a surgery this Tuesday... it's not like I doing anything rough with my hands."
