"I recently hired Monroe Gutter Cleaning for what I thought would be a routine gutter cleaning service, but my experience was anything but satisfactory. Firstly, the crew arrived with a ladder and leaf blower. I assumed they would have the necessary tools to ensure a thorough and clean job as their website shows a very different approach but it became apparent that they were ill-prepared for the task at hand. As they proceeded to clean the gutters, the leaf blower was their tool of choice. Not only did this method seem haphazard, but it also resulted in a messy aftermath. Instead of efficiently removing debris from the gutters, the leaf blower sent a array of gutter remnants flying everywhere. This resulted in a complete mess, with debris scattered all over the sides of my house and even onto my car. In the end, I had to spend additional time and effort cleaning up the mess left behind by Monroe Gutter Cleaning. This not only defeated the purpose of hiring professionals but also left me regretting my decision to choose their services. I strongly advise anyone considering their services to think twice and perhaps look elsewhere for a gutter cleaning company that takes pride in their work and respects their clients' property."

"In summary: two weeks, a lot of phone calls (I left out the phone tag in my longer version below) and the work did not happen, even after I approved of the new, higher price quoted to me. For years we had the same man cleaning our gutters. He did an amazing job: cleared the debris off our roof and scooped the accumulated waste out of our gutters. Unfortunately he has retired. I called Monroe Gutter Cleaning on 6/18. They looked up the size of my house and quoted me a price. On 6/25 I received a call that having stopped by and looked at my house, they would need to charge me more. I agreed to the new price. On July 3rd I was left a note, and received a phone call, informing me that they would not do the job because they couldn’t get their hands in the gutters and my roof is “too dangerous”. I give them two stars for being communicative and polite. A gutter cleaning service that doesn’t want to deal with people’s roofs is suspicious. As for their hands not fitting... well, the man previously doing it managed, we used another company before we found him, and my father-in-law has cleaned our gutters as well. I live in a two-story Tudor revival."
