"Warning*** Please DO NOT USE this Attorney!!! I signed a retainer with Jim to review my commercial lease and strategy for a possible filing. He appeared to be knowledgeable on the subject matter, but quite condescending at the same time. He assured me that he could help, so I looked past that blaring detail. AFTER, the first retainer fee of $2,000 was paid, Jim tried to get me to send additional funds without even providing the initial services of the retainer. During our subsequent conversations, he began to change the fees that he would be requesting, this happened multiple times. When I initially called him out, he backtracked and agreed to his initial fee request. When I bought it to his attention the second time, he made up a bogus excuse why he would have to increase his fee. (An explanation he did not discuss with me prior) After bringing these discrepancies to his awareness, he sent me an email that he no longer wants to represent me and that I should find a new attorney. How convenient. Please be aware if you are looking for a professional and upstanding attorney, Jim is not it!"
