Jones Beach Hotel

"Hats off to Manning and Ellie at the Jones Beach Hotel in Wantagh, NY. Great experience and so much has to do with the customer service we got from the start. As so many reviews say, it's a hidden gem off the beaten path in a quaint neighborhood. It was very clean, cozy and costs less than your chain hotels. Love the pay phone in the hallway. It's a time machine as you step inside. We had no time to enjoy the attached restaurant but it was highly recommended. Thank you, again, Manning and Ellie."

"The staff here is incredible. We stayed here while going to a concert at Jones Beach and we had an amazing time. Amazing service with amazing rooms and I cannot say enough good things about the people that work here. Thanks for a great weekend getaway!"

"They give you an actual key instead of a card, and it sits at the back of a residential neighborhood, which seems odd at first but it doesn't feel out of place. The person at the front desk was very cool and nice. Rooms were clean. Great place to stay and quiet."

"We stayed at Jones Beach Hotel this past July after a show at Jones Beach Amphitheater. Somehow our reservation got messed up, but the owner was so very kind. She found a room for us, even though they were completely booked, and we could not have been happier!!! The hotel dates back to the 1920's, so the king room wasn't large (we were not expecting a giant room), but the room was super clean, the bathroom was lovely, and the bed was comfy as could be. The hotel is on a quiet residential street with it's own parking lot and, as many of the other reviews say, the owner really does make you feel like family. The attached restaurant has great food and wine, as well as great service. I cannot recommend The Jones Beach Hotel enough!!!"
